The 4 X 4 mount with clamp-on bracket is attached to the 4 X 4 (customer supplied/installed) using stainless steel bolts and nuts.

The hinging mechanism is integrated with the clamp-on bracket and fabricated using heavy gauge welded steel construction. It is coated using a special Mil-Spec electro-coat plating process for rust prevention. The return spring is an extra heavy-duty extension spring for long life and years of reliable use. The dampening cylinder is designed specifically for this application and will last thousands of cycles.

The Post is a thick wall PVC material to withstand weathering and abusive snow removal.

The mailbox top plate is also electro-coated and attached using stainless steel hardware.
